Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector for a busy electronics manufacturer in Anaheim Hills, CA. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for checking raw materials, parts, and entire products that are processed by the Company for conformance with quality standards. Perform related functions as needed.*Core tasks:** *Dimensional Inspection:* Verify dimensions against the controlling specification or drawing, including visual inspection, gauge checks, shippers, traceability, packing, and other items.* *In-Process Inspection:* Regularly inspect the manufacturing process, including the first piece inspection, to ensure smooth operation and adherence to our quality standards.* *First Article Inspection:* Validate the manufacturing process for new or modified products by performing first article inspections.* *Incoming Material Inspection:* Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.* *Nonconforming Parts:* Reject nonconforming parts, complete Discrepant Material Rejection form (DMR), and update the DMR database.* *Engineering Change Request:* Collaborate with Engineering personnel to identify problems and initiate Engineering Change Request form (ECR).* *Documentation:* Record inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into the quality database.* *Receiving Paperwork:* Check receiving paperwork on various fabricated parts to ensure conformance to our specifications, including in-house work orders.*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** Considerable knowledge of standard inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and surface finish testers in order to conduct a variety of inspections.* Considerable knowledge of industry specifications, including but not limited to, ISO, API, ANSI, ASTM, ASME, and PED for a range of products.* Knowledge of quality assurance practices.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayWork setting:* In-person* Manufacturing facilityWork Location: In personby Jobble
