Position Overview Financial Analyst will be responsible for creating, analyzing, and maintaining various reports for management in conjunction with company---s operations and financial reporting. This position will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting, analysis, ad hoc reporting, and data mining in relations to the General Ledger and various internal data. Duties/Responsibilities Create, monitor, and maintain reporting in relation to General Ledger Analyze internal reporting for management in relation to customers and products Reconciliation of data in relation to reports being presented Comprehend and analyze cost data and various expenses in relation to standard costing. Recommend to management issues relating to variances in reports Ability to communicate, comprehend, and fulfill various requests for financial and government auditors Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor---s degree in Finance and/or Accounting 5 years of experience in data analysis, data mining, and financial reports preferably in manufacturing Ability to use Microsoft Office Suites particularly in Excel Ability to work independently and as a team Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Ability to initiate issues needing attention to management, problem solver, enthusiastic, maintain confidentiality and attention to detail Additional Skills Familiar with ERP systems in Manufacturing work environment Experience with various data mining and data manipulation techniques. Helpful to have knowledge of Business Intelligence software, such as, Power BI
