to:Chief Financial Officer & Chief Accounting OfficerSummary:Under
the direction of the CFO & CAO the Cost Accountant will be
responsible for preparing financial records and budgets of diverse
account analysis. Most essential duties will also involve carrying
out cost accounting closing functions on a daily and weekly basis
while developing and analyzing general ledger and statements of
finances every month.All employees are responsible to follow all of
Nutrition Corp. protocols of Food Safety.Essential
Functions:Prepare, analyze, and report weekly, monthly, quarterly
gross margin analysis by brandPrepare and analyze weekly, monthly,
quarterly, and annual cost of business activity such as raw
material purchases, inventory, and laborAnalyze changes on in
product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services
provided, to determine effects on costAnalyzing actual
manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing
standard costs to actual production costsRecording cost information
for use in controlling expendituresMaking estimates of new and
proposed product costsProviding management with reports specifying
and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of
products or servicesInventory control including development and
implementation of cycle count processAssist in month-end closing,
prepare journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory evaluation,
inventory roll forward, and general ledger account analysisIn
partnership with Operations, develop and implement hours control
labor planning and reporting processesMaintaining Cost Accounting
SystemMaintain internal control documentation and test internal
controls to ensure integrity of financial reporting and
safeguarding of assetsContinuously evaluate ways to streamline and
improve finance department processesPrepare detailed account
analysis and reconcile sales, cost and inventory, liability
accountsAssist with reporting requirements such as audit schedules,
tax schedules, and othersEnsure timely submission, accuracy, and
validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to managementProvides
economic payback analysis for proposed product changes, including
packaging changes product line extensions product category
extensions, and new productsProvide financial and operational
analysis for supported departments/teams in a timely manner and
explain how their actions impacted results, and suggest process,
improvements to enhance efficiencies, and reduce wasteWork on
various other accounting projects as requestedProvide ad hoc
analyses and projections as needed All employees are responsible to

Requirements:Critical Skills:Food industry experience a plusSAP
experience preferred5+ years of accounting experience3+ years cost
accounting experienceExcellent analytical skills with a strong
focus on accuracy and attention to detailExcellent communication
skillsDemonstrated ability to streamline and automate complex
processesAbility to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles & Cost Accounting StandardsMust be able to
adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable
efficient data gatherings and analysisAbility to research, compile,
analyze and interpret dataMicrosoft Office skillset across Excel,

Environment:While performing duties, the employee will work in an

days and hours of work are Monday-Friday and hours schedule are
open to discuss with the CFO & CAO for a set
