Orion is licensed nationwide and provides service to our clients from three Southern California locations. Responsibilities

• Manage the payables at orionrisk email and enter vouchers into EPIC Applied daily.
• Scan, mail, and attach checks every week.
• Facilitate the Petty Cash Box and record the Journal Entry monthly.
• Complete Direct Bill Commission reconciliations for P&C daily.
• Contact Account Managers and Producers about commission rate discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Complete Direct Bill commission reconciliation for Benefits of America weekly.
• Locate, question, and streamline commission statements that reflect Direct Bill Commission--------s daily.
• Execute entering commission information into the Master Client List monthly.
• Complete bank reconciliations for our smaller entities monthly.
• Monitor our Direct Bill Commission account weekly to report externalities.
• Investigate potential past balances Orion has with select vendors.
• Organize and file away ACH/Wire Disbursements weekly.
• Manage Orion--------s front desk/receptionist in the morning for 2-3 hours each day. Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of work experience in accounting.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize.
  • Must be a self-starter and driven.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
