Job Description:
A company is looking for a remote Teacher of the Visually
Impaired (TVI) in Michigan.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs
(IEPs)
Adapt curriculum for students with visual impairments and provide
virtual instruction
Collaborate with educational teams and monitor student progress
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Master's Degree in Special Education with an emphasis on Visual
Impairments or related field
Valid Michigan Teaching License with endorsement in Visual
Impairments or ability to obtain one
Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (CTVI)
preferred
Experience working with students who are blind or visually
impaired
Must be able to pass technical screening and have General Liability
insurance
