Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties has a temporary full-time opportunity for a IT Technician in Anaheim, CA.This position will be responsible for the maintenance of a variety of desktop, network, IP Phone, and software support activities. Applies understanding and knowledge of information system products and services to assist and services internal users. Benefits coverage starts after one full month of employment!Generous vacation, sick, and holiday benefits!Generous 401(k) matching contributions and more!To view our detailed benefits guide, please visit our career site at www.pposbccareers.orgEssential Functions: Essential functions encompass the required tasks, duties, and responsibilities performed as part of the job and the reason the job exists.Assists with all aspects of equipment lifecycle including inventory, asset management, and e-waste disposal.Maintenance and support of a variety of desktop, network, IP Phone, and software activities.Testing of office equipment to determine the remaining lifespan of devicesCable management and other IT maintenance activitiesInstallation of desktop computers and thin clientsAssembly of monitor arms and wall mounts used for computer monitorsHelps with hardware moves, installations, and repairs upon request.Troubleshooting and correcting problems that may occur with systems.Occasional travel between Orange and San Bernardino Counties locations for support.Proven track record of effective troubleshooting technique with end-users of various levels of technical expertise.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with setup, configuration and repair of desktops/laptops.Minimum Work Experience:1+ years' experience in desktop, laptop, network and software support.1+ years' experience in technical support and troubleshooting experience.Agency Standard Requirements:Strong commitment to quality healthcare and excellent customer service is required.Must thrive in a fast paced, rigorous environment with changing priorities.Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.Must demonstrate high level computer skills including; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
