Volt is immediately hiring an Associate Mechanical Engineer in San
Diego, CA.
As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will:
Be responsible for creating the design of machinery package systems
and components in accordance with the company guidelines. In
addition, the role has accountability for the content, accuracy,
and timeliness of the Mechanical Interface Drawing (MID) and
overall mechanical definition provided to production and our
customers.
The candidate would also be responsible for the creation of parts,
bills of materials and CAD drawings to support production and
customer needs.
This is a full time, contingent opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Experience with CAD system
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience with Gas Turbine Systems and their operation
Knowledge of Linked / Configurable Data
Experience with Creo Parametric and Windchill
Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment, capable of
handling multiple projects with competing priorities, while meeting
project deadlines and commitments
Pay Rate: $30-$32.28/hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
