Senior Spacecraft Power Systems Engineer - Millennium Space
Sytems Company: Millennium Space Systems Millennium Space Systems,

us made it happen. As a Spacecraft Power Engineer, your systems
will power Millennium satellites literally. Power engineers design
most of the satellite electrical system, including overall
electrical architecture, battery and solar array design, power
conversion, and power distribution. They are involved from early
conceptual design and development, during the detailed design
phase, when components and satellites are being built and tested,
and during on-orbit operations of the satellite. Whether it’s
performing low-level electrical circuit design, analyzing the
worst-case energy balance of a satellite, or troubleshooting an
anomaly of an on-orbit satellite, you will have a hand in it all.
This position’s internal job code is Elect Design and Analysis. Our
team is currently hiring for the level range of 3-4. Position
Responsibilities: Perform spacecraft Electrical Power Subsystem
design and analysis at the spacecraft level, including interfaces
with other subsystems Develop system, subsystem, and component
level requirements derived from higher level requirements sets
Develop spacecraft level power models to predict power loading and
performance margins to support system design Support battery, solar
array, and electronics design Brief design and analysis materials
to program managers, customers, and/or sponsors Support system
level functional and environmental testing Provide on-orbit support
during mission operations and anomaly resolution Assist in proposal
and business development efforts Coordinate efforts with
consultants when necessary Manage cost and schedule for satellite
EPS tasks Mentor junior engineers Security Clearance and Export
Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain
a U.S. Security Clearance. for which the US Government requires
U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Top Secret security clearance is
required post start. Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience): Bachelors Degree in electrical, computer, or
other relevant engineering discipline 5 or more years experience in
the design, development, analysis, implementation, testing, and/or
operation of spacecraft power systems Experience modeling and
simulating power system loads against input power Experience with
and knowledge of solar arrays and Li-ion batteries, how they’re
designed, built, and tested Experience with power control and
distribution electronics and architectures Experience working with
engineers of multiple disciplines in the design and test of complex
systems Experience writing and reviewing technical documents such
as test procedures, design diagrams, and requirements
specifications Experience testing electronics using tools such
DMMs, oscilloscopes, PSUs, E-Loads, and custom test racks Knowledge
of power circuit design fundamentals Excellent communication and
presentation skills Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience): Experience with high-reliability automotive or
aerospace electronics Experience with mitigation of space
environmental effects on electronics, solar arrays, and batteries
Experience in MATLAB or other comparable software tool Experience
with managing project budgets and schedules Experience with

considerations. Summary Pay-Range Level 3: $104,550 - $153,750
Level 4: $126,650 - $186,250 Millennium is DDTC-registered,

requires special access. Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and
eligible for a security clearance. Additionally, applicants must be
