Responsible for managing relationships in support of Retail Sales
Channel. Ensures Retail Sales Team contributes to the acquisition
and retention of retail customers, resulting in customer and
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Build a high performance team by recruiting, training and retaining
the best talent. Coach, develop and motivate Retail Account
Representatives to achieve both individual and team objectives.
Responsible for Retail Sales Channel growth and the ongoing working
relationship with Retail partners and Store management within scope
of responsibility. Meet or exceed sales quotas.
Implement retail sales channel strategies to grow market awareness
for the Charter brand, including development of new retail
Develop sales plans to meet or exceed retail growth by implementing
plans for selling Charter products and services through indirect
distribution channels (retailer/dealer/agent) Communicate overall
plans to Divisional Sales Director; monitor, evaluate results and
provide detailed status updates.
Develop and manage relationships with Charter Authorized Retailers
and Partners to grow effectiveness of retail channel by
continuously monitoring trends, opportunities, issues and
performing in-depth needs assessments.
Manage the execution of Retailer support and service expectations
within scope of responsibility, ensuring the client-'s expectations
and requirements are met.
Manage overall sales process and set appropriate performance
Create Channel performance dashboard and top level channel
performance against strategic targets. Provide weekly status
reports to Retail Sales Leadership as required.
Learn and develop further knowledge of new technologies and selling
points which includes enhancing expertise in the company-'s
products and services.
Provide input on training content and process based on
communication with retail partners, industry best practices or
recommended process improvements.
Demonstrate company values, foster continuous learning and
development, move team forward through change and create a positive
work environment where employees are able to enhance their skills
and maximize their potential through coaching, training and
objective performance management.
Provide guidance, monitor and manage the enforcement of all Company
Perform other duties as may be required by Manager.
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to
communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the
phone, and by written communication in a clear, straight-forward,
and professional manner
Strong project management skills with ability to set and meet
Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to think
Ability to analyze and interpret data to make strategic growth
Possess a self-motivated, competitive spirit and desire to recruit,
manage and motivate sales team
Carry a positive and professional demeanor
Travel to multiple locations
Knowledge and ability to use computer and software applications
Knowledge of employment laws and procedures
Valid driver-'s license and ability to meet Company-'s motor
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Related Work Experience
Sales Management - 5+ yrs.
Project Management - 3+ yrs.
Cable/Telecommunications Industry - 3+ yrs.
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Extensive knowledge of telecommunications products and services
Knowledge of sales strategies in a retail environment
Knowledge of all functions and related tasks in the area of retail
Travel as required, up to 70%
