The DPEP Learning and Development organization is currently seeking a talented Manager, Learning Planning and Logistics leader to fill a full-time management role in Glendale (CA), Burbank (CA), Anaheim (CA), or Lake Buena Vista (FL). Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate scheduling, logistics, and planning required to ensure resources are fully utilized, our approach is consistent, and all standards are met for all virtual delivery in a centralized operation.
  • Lead the team of leaders and coordinators to support the planning and day-to-day delivery by building relationships with the Program Managers, Content Curators and Learning Environment on-site delivery teams, Program Facilitators, and Senior Managers.
  • Seek to understand all the roles to optimize via metrics, forecasting, planning and logistics how to utilize team members to provide the best support.
  • Research and determine the best equipment, production rooms, and collateral needed and stay ahead of technology to ensure successful planning and delivery of all virtual programs. This may require benchmarking internal and external organizations to drive leading edge solutions for virtual delivery.
  • Understand your role in supporting and managing the DPEP Learning Workflow , utilizing templates and applying ARCI to all activities.
  • Work with the Program Management and Marketing Teams to develop and support communication, survey and measurement strategies for all programs and virtual learning overall.
  • Produce dashboards on a recurring basis and alert Program Managers when trends change.
  • Remain agile and timely when adjustments to the delivery strategy are needed based on Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Leadership feedback throughout the sustainment of the program.
  • Provide strategic recommendations regarding support and facilitation requirements needed for each program. This includes the need for moderators, producers and multiple facilitators.
  • Work closely with the Senior Managers, and Learning Operations to create schedules, communicate metrics, set up ongoing meetings, and support QA processes.
  • Understand and lead the Quality Assurance processes for virtual delivery by understanding the delivery standards and learning objectives in order to create solid operational processes.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data to make strategic recommendations and the ability to see gaps and improve the accuracy of data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure that the delivery strategy and approach are aligned with marketing strategies.
  • Participate in post-learning meetings with Program Managers, Clients/Partners to share data and determine if further action is required.Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 3 years of applicable scheduling, logistics, and planning experience in a learning and development operations role
    • 3 years of applicable experience with metrics, dashboard creation, and story-telling via metrics as correlated to learning operations
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projectsPreferred Qualifications:
      • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to communicate well to internal and external stakeholders (clients & partners ).
