Purpose
Supports Graybar's OMNIA Partner Public Sector Cooperative
Purchasing Contract and all associated current and potential
customers within State, Local, County, City, Higher Ed, K-12,
Special Districts, and Non-profits in the WEST Region of U.S.
Supports contract portfolio with thousands of accounts with the
potential value of $100M+ in annual sales.
Responsibilities
Conducts training, sales development, and ensures contract
compliance with assigned Graybar's District branch locations and
sales teams.
Works directly with District Management to strategically develop
Education, State and Local Government sales plans.
Works directly with Graybar's key District Managers who assist with
the Graybar OMNIA Partners Public Sector Program & Sales Team
Contract Compliance and Reports Manager
eBusiness Manager
Price/Cost Services Manager
Marketing Manager
Bid/Solicitation Response Team
National Product Manager
Renewable Managers of Specialty Business.
DAS Managers of Specialty Business.
Broadband Managers of Specialty Business
Lighting Business Development Managers
Project Management Group
Responsible for working with Graybar's manufacturers & suppliers to
maintain commitments to the Graybar OMNIA Partners Public Sector
Program.
Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of State/Local Government and Education vertical
market sales experience.
Demonstrated success in supporting sales and or sales
management.
Demonstrated success in presenting to audiences of up to 100
people.
High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Job Requirements
Prefer living in California but open to west coast applicants.
Minimum of 5 years Cooperative Purchasing contract management is
highly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years State/Local Government and Education vertical
market sales experience highly preferred.
Industry accreditation in market (third party
training/designations) preferred.
Previous Account Representative experience
Four-year college degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge
Knowledge of the Company's Code of Business Ethics.
Knowledge of the OMNIA Partners Public Sector Master Agreement.
Knowledge of compliance requirements for government contracts.
Knowledge of cooperative contracts and group purchasing
organizations.
Knowledge of key State/Local Government and Education market
affiliated associations such as NIGP, ASBO, NAEP.
Knowledge of the Company's sales, marketing, and operating
processes
Knowledge of the Company's products and services
Knowledge of financial analysis methods and techniques
Knowledge of SAP
Knowledge of pricing strategies and techniques
Skills
Oral and written communication skills
Negotiation skills
Abilities
Ability to make oral and written presentations to all levels of
audiences of varied sizes and makeup.
Ability to think strategically.
Ability to execute plans on time, on budget, and achieve successful
results.
Working Conditions
Office environment. Extensive travel required. This position may
work remotely after training is successfully completed.

Pay Details
The expected salary for this position is starting at $100,000
annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus
eligible depending on relevant and specific business metrics.
