Job Description: Job Summary:

Reports directly to the Machine Shop Supervisor and his/her primary responsibilities are to keep the building in a clean and orderly condition.

Essential Functions:

Must keep floors clean by sweeping, moping, scrubbing or vacuuming them.

Gathering of trash and emptying it in the main dumpsters to be picked up by waste management.

Servicing, cleaning and supplying the bathrooms.

Maintaining the Break Area by keeping counter tops and tables wiped down, cleaning out of refrigerators and microwaves.

Cleaning and dusting office furniture and equipment.

Monitor and maintain necessary supplies, paper towels, chemicals, toiletries, etc.

â?¢ Be able to mix water and detergents and keep properly labeled according to specifications.

Be aware of Hazmat instructions in case of spill..

Walking 10%, standing 90% and lifting up to 50 LBS. or less

â?¢ Performs additional duties within the facility as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must have understanding of cleaning chemicals and how they work when mixed together.

Able to physically perform essential functions.

Ability to communicate and interface well.

Additional Job Requirements: We will also have the following candidate drive for us when he or she is done with the Janitorial Job.

Must have a clean drive license (No Tickets)

Be able to support the Janitorial department.

Have knowledge and or exp. in Deep Cleaning, Waxing floors, cleaning carpets and paint if needed.
