Job Description:
A company is looking for an Advocacy Relations Director for
Thyroid Eye Disease (TED).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of a TED advocacy strategy
focused on raising disease awareness and supporting diagnosis
Cultivate partnerships with TED advocacy organizations, patients,
and caregivers to ensure community needs are prioritized
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to amplify patient voices
and develop programs that enhance understanding of TED
Required Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 4 years of patient advocacy and/or healthcare
policy experience, or
Master's degree and 7 years of patient advocacy and/or healthcare
policy experience, or
Bachelor's degree and 9 years of patient advocacy and/or healthcare
policy experience
7+ years of experience with patient advocacy groups, particularly
in rare disease communities
Strong understanding of the engagement dynamics within rare disease
patient communities
