Job Description
Experian's Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business is looking for a Director of Product to lead our expanding Insurance vertical. You will define and deliver a holistic insurance experience, while promoting personalized insurance capabilities across the broader Experian product ecosystem. You will report to the Vice President of Product and work remotely.
You will build transactional funnels and be a product leader who can create ongoing engagement that keeps users informed, protected, and secure in their insurance decisions, even when they're not shopping. You will promote a strategy that integrates coverage fit, financial protection, and quote monitoring to ensure users receive constant value over time.
Main Responsibilities

• 
  
• Develop a comprehensive product strategy for the insurance platform, including quoting, purchase funnel, carrier integrations, agency tools, and in-app features on web and mobile.
  
• Lead a team of product managers, providing strategic support and understanding Experian's operating model.
  
• Design experiences that engage users beyond one-time shopping, including tools for alerts on quotes, risk changes, and coverage improvements.
  
• Communicate strategic and technical topics to senior leadership, and collaborate on product architecture and design.
  
• Coordinate with marketing and lifecycle teams for go-to-market plans and user nurturing strategies.
  
• Serve as a strategic voice for insurance within the Marketplace and broader product teams, shaping how insights are delivered across the user journey.
  
  What Your Background Is
  
  • 
    
  • 7+ years in product management, with success in consumer-facing platforms that grow engagement and transactions.
    
  • 3+ years in financial services, regulated marketplaces, or insurance (preferred).
    
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field (preferred).
    
  • Experience in building solutions that address user needs, operational workflows, and partner integrations.
    
  • Ability to navigate technical product details and communicate with executive leadership.
    
  • Experience with Agile development and product delivery.
    
  • Experience managing product teams, fostering impact and strategic growth.
