part of care.St. Jude Neighborhood Health Centers (affiliated with
Providence St. Joseph Health) is seeking a full-time bilingual
(Spanish/English) Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant
to provide exemplar patient care and basic supportive dental
procedures within the scope of a Dental Assistant or Registered
Dental Assistant. Responsible for cleaning, sterilization and
packaging of instruments. Co-ordinates patient appointments,
assists with patient registration & billing, maintains stats on
patient visits & ethically handles cash transactions in the clinic.
This position rotates between our clinics in Fullerton, Buena Park,
Anaheim, and Orange, depending upon need.$18 - $26/hour, with

patients to our clinicsAssists patients with questions, including
scheduling, helping them complete formsCoordinates patient
registration, payment, and billingSets up, cleans, sterilizes, and
maintains dental instruments and equipmentAssists the dental
provider through 4-handed dentistryProvides chairside
assistancePerforms digital x-raysRecords patient visits,
transactions, and other duties, utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical
Record) and other software A successful Dental Assistant or
Registered Dental Assistant: Conducts all interactions with
patients and fellow caregivers (staff) and vendors with dignity,

other software systems Education : Completion of a Dental Assisting
Program (which includes 8 hours in infection control, course in the
Dental Practice Act, Radiation Safety) Desired Experience: 6
months' experience as a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental
Assistant in a community-based clinic. License / Certification:
Radiology CertificateCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS), accredited
by AHA (American Heart Association)Registered Dental Assistant
(RDA), optional Salary Description 18.00 - $26.00 / hour
