About the Position Postpartum / Mother-Baby Registered Nurse (PP
/ MB RN) – Per Diem Anaheim Regional Medical Center | $80/hr | 12hr
Night Shifts (8:00 PM – 8:30 AM) Shift Schedule: Minimum 1
shift/week Orientation: Conducted at Irvine on day shift;
additional unit orientations to follow (2 more, scheduled based on
availability, within 2 weeks of start date) Assignment Type: Per
Diem Pay Rate: $80/hour About the Role: Anaheim Regional Medical
Center is seeking experienced and compassionate Postpartum /
Mother-Baby Registered Nurses to join our per diem team. This role
is perfect for clinicians who thrive in a nurturing, fast-paced
environment and are passionate about supporting mothers and
newborns during the critical postnatal period. Key
Responsibilities: Monitor physical and emotional recovery of new
mothers post-delivery Provide newborn care including assessments,
vital signs, and feeding support Educate mothers and families on
newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery Administer
prescribed medications and manage IV therapy Collaborate with
obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and the
broader care team Perform ongoing assessments and document care in
EPIC Respond promptly to maternal or neonatal emergencies.
Licensure & Certifications (Required): California RN License BLS
(AHA) ACLS (AHA) PALS (AHA) ANRP/NRP (AHA) NIHSS
