Required Skills: Valid MD or DO license in California Proven experience as an OB Hospitalist or equivalent in obstetric care Exceptional clinical judgment and decision-making abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Flexibility to cover weekend shifts Nice to Have Skills: Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Prior experience in hospitalist roles or in locum tenens settings Knowledge of hospital protocols and interdisciplinary collaboration Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution At least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience Current board certification in OB-GYN Other Requirements: Must hold and maintain current state medical licenses and certifications Availability for weekend shifts and possible short-notice assignments Willingness to travel to the assignment location as needed BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification are required This exciting opportunity offers an hourly pay rate of $195.00, along with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements when applicable, and an attractive referral program.
