Orthopedic Tech Location: Tarzana, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,200 to $1,360 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $30.00 - $34.00/Hourly. Summary: The Certified Orthopedic Technologist provides specialized clinical support to orthopedic physicians by assisting with the care and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. This role includes application and removal of casts, splints, and braces, assisting with orthopedic procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities: Apply, remove, and adjust casts, splints, braces, and orthopedic devices. Assist providers during orthopedic examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries. Prepare patients and exam rooms for orthopedic procedures. Perform suture and staple removal, wound care, and dressing changes (per scope of practice). Educate patients on cast care, brace use, and post-procedure instructions. Requirements Requirements: 2 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, Certified Orthopedic Technologist (COT).
