Discounts Responsibilities: Foster a friendly, safe, and inclusive
therapy environment Identifies different communication styles to
develop effective communication with staff, families, teachers, and
community partners Provides individualized, goal-oriented therapy
tailored to each child’s unique needs and family dynamics Monitors
and tracks upcoming reports due based on the funder Serves as a
liaison between the funder (school team, family, etc.) and the
leadership team to pro-actively identify areas of concerns and
maintain strong relationships with the community Maintains timely
and accurate clinical documentation, including daily notes in
Raintree and progress reports Collaborates with other service
providers, including, when appropriate, other therapists and
classroom teacher Qualifications: Master of Arts or Science degree
from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
approved school of Speech Therapy (Required) Meet the education and
experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology, granted by the American Speech-Language
Pathology (Required) Strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
Minimum of one (1) year's clinical experience in Speech-Language
Pathology (Required) CPR/First Aid certified (Preferred) Additional
Requirements Valid California driver’s license and clean driving
record Ability to lift up to 50lbs and engage in active, play-based
therapy Successful completion of background check, TB test, drug
screening, and employment eligibility verification Willingness to
participate in disaster preparedness drills and emergency
procedures With 40 programs and service sites spanning several
counties, Momentum is the largest nonprofit provider of direct
support for individuals with developmental and intellectual
disabilities in Southern California and Illinois. Momentum is an
