Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Urgent Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Registered Nurse (RN) – Urgent Care Culver City, CA Duration: 13 Weeks Shift Options (4x10s): - Monday–Friday: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM - Weekends: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM Position Overview Seeking an experienced Urgent Care RN with strong outpatient and emergency background to join a fast-paced ambulatory setting. This role serves patients across the lifespan — infants through geriatrics — and requires confidence in independent assessment, IV starts, and emergency response. Floating within scope may be required. Requirements ? Active California RN license (in hand) ? BLS (AHA or ARC) ? 2 years outpatient experience ? 1 year Urgent Care or ER experience Clinical Responsibilities - Perform rapid patient assessments and triage - Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs - Start IVs (adults & pediatrics) - Administer IM, IV, SQ, and intradermal medications - Perform splinting, wound care, sutures, and suture removal - Assist with pelvic exams, pap smears, burn care, biopsies - Provide nebulizer treatments and oxygen therapy - Perform venipuncture and specimen collection - Conduct point-of-care testing (strep, UA, glucose, pregnancy tests) - Telephone triage and follow-up patient education About Hanker Systems Inc Healthcare staffing at Hanker Systems Inc is focused on delivering the right talent to support quality patient care.
