registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years NICU RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is
available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive
Care (RN-NICU) with experience in pediatric critical care units.
This role supports a high-acuity Level 4 NICU as well as Pediatric
Emergency, PICU, Pediatric Surgery, and Pediatric Oncology/BMT
units at a leading hospital located in Universal City, TX.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year
of experience in PICU or Level 3/Level 4 NICU settings required
Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license (CRT or
RRT) Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS Proficiency
with advanced respiratory modalities such as BiPAP, ventilator
management (Servo U with NAVA, Avea Ventilator, V60 noninvasive),
HFNC, nebulizer therapy, and airway clearance techniques including
bronchial hygiene Strong team player with flexibility and
adaptability in clinical care Location:This role serves in a
state-of-the-art pediatric hospital with a 92-bed Level 4 NICU and
various specialized pediatric units. The hospital is located at
7700 Floyd Curl Dr., San Antonio, TX 78229, near Universal City.

to urban amenities and natural Texas landscapes. Responsibilities:
Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill neonates and
pediatric patients across multiple specialized units Manage complex
respiratory therapies and advanced ventilatory support Collaborate
with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Adhere to
hospital policies and maintain documentation within the Meditech
EMR system Participate in assigned weekend shifts with an average
of 4 weekends per 4-week schedule Additional Details: Scrub attire:
olive/sage scrub tops with black bottoms preferred; all black
acceptable Flexible floating to adult respiratory therapy services
is voluntary Schedule includes day and night shifts, with staffing
levels between 6-12 per shift This role is a contract position
