supervise employees at a large beverage manufacturing facility.
Must adhere to quality standards, safety, training, GMP's, all
company policies & procedures. Responsible for evaluating,
resolving any production, mechanical or procedural problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at
all times
- Prepare production reports, analyze data, production systems
and make recommendations to improve efficiency and cost
control
- Produce a quality product and package for
customers/consumers.
- Identify and correct quality problems
- Provide employee training on safety and equipment
operation
- Conduct employee meetings
- Understand policies, procedures, technical manuals, and other
material pertaining to the operation and make decisions when
appropriate
- Supervision of Can/PET Production operations; staff of 15 –30
people
- Conduct performance reviews of all Production personnel
- Ability to identify equipment problems
- Perform package inspections for defects
- Provide explanations of blend formulas, chemical markings, and
mixing procedures to management, peers and subordinates
- Perform basic computer functions
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and
draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety
of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal
with several abstract and concrete variables

- To perform this job successfully, must be able to perform each

Responsibilities: Directly supervises 10 to 30 employees in
Production. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance
with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training
employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising
performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing
complaints and resolving problems.Amount of Travel Involved:

- Multi-Media Communication Skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of processing and packaging
operations.
- High degree of Mechanical Aptitude.
- Knowledge TQM and GMP.
- Mathematical skills – ability to calculate figures and amounts
such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and
volume.
- Language skills – Ability to read, analyze and interpret
general business periodicals, professional journals, technical
procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure
manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to
questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the
general public.Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A.
A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six
months to one year related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills:

exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally
exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals;
extreme cold and extreme heat. Noise level in the work environment
is usually moderate but the employee may occasionally be exposed to
high level noises including but not limited to manufacturing
