Junior Event Team LeaderSanta Ana, CAWe are currently expanding our events team, and are looking for someone with leadership experience to help us with event planning, organization, and execution this year!As an Junior Event Team Leader, you will spend your first few weeks in a more entry-level position as you learn the ropes. As soon as you feel confident and are able to produce consistent results, you'll be able to advance into an official Leadership position.In this role, you'll be hosting group training workshops and working with people one-on-one to hone their skills. You'll be responsible for educating and supporting our event sales representative and support staff.You'll be there to provide interactive training sessions and 1-1 support to a variety of team members both with theoretical knowledge and practical support. Ultimately, you will make sure our team develops their skills and successfully addresses clients' needs.We're offering training, coaching, and ongoing development in areas including Marketing, Sales, and Business Development to help our Team Leads become the best versions of themselves and progress into a more senior position.Junior Event Team Leader Responsibilities:

  • Work with customer service representatives, sales associates, and events team to generate consistent sales and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction at our events
  • Organize and host training sessions explaining product features and benefits along with sales tips and customer service techniques
  • Conduct role-playing activities to develop interpersonal skills (e.g. negotiation, teamwork, and sales techniques)
  • Identify individual and team strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
  • Schedule regular training sessions with external experts, guest speakers, industry coaches, etc
  • Liaise with managers to review training and coaching practices, and to discuss challenges and successes
  • Maintain updated records of training documents, videos, and other materialsJunior Event Team Leader Requirements:
    • Leadership experience through sports, school, work, or other organization
    • The ability to inspire, influence, and motivate others, especially when morale is low
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
    • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • High school diploma or equivalent as a minimum. College & University degrees are also welcome, especially in marketing or business
    • 18+ years of age, eligible to work in the USA, local to / reliably able to commute to Santa Ana, CA
