Position Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Welcomes customers and taking their coffee interests and
needs.
-Create 100% guest satisfaction by providing Yes I Can! genuine
hospitality and by exceeding guest expectations.
-Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink
menu; answering questions.
-Sells coffees by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee
preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment
operates.
-Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes
and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso,
cafe latte, and cappuccino.
-Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and
expanded services and products.
-Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking
coffee brewing equipment and maintaining supplies.
-Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions;
troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing
preventive maintenance.
-Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following
organization standards and sanitation regulations.
-Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing
processes; implementing changes.
-Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for
accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities
to add value to job accomplishments.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
-Works well independently or as part of a team.
-Strong attention to detail, organized, multitask, and time
management skills a must.
-Commitment to exceptional guest service.
-A positive attitude.
-Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel.
-Must be available to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
-Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
-Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds.
-Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist.
-Ability to stand for long periods of time.
