Employment Type: Full-Time,Exempt Salary: $72.2K - $97.7K/Annual (DOE&Q) About the Role The Human Resources and Training Manager will lead and direct all Human Resources (HR) functions including the full cycle recruitment process, benefits administration, employee development and training, policy development, performance management, and employee engagement, as well as, identify and monitor training needs in the organization, and design, plan, and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs. Responsibilities (This list is not intended to be a complete listing of all the job duties required of this position, but to provide information on the general scope of the position.) Human Resources Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies; manage the full cycle recruitment process Manages and resolves employee relations issues; assist managers with resolving employee relations issues and how to document disciplinary actions and resolve workplace conflict Schedule and conduct job analysis; maintain job descriptions for all positions Develop and implement performance management programs and procedures, including but not limited to periodic performance appraisals and performance improvement plans as needed Maintain all HR systems, processes, and policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; ensure all HR policies are applied consistently Plan and manage group benefits programs; serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators; coordinate benefits and wellness events Coordinate benefits processing (e.g., enrollments, terminations, changes); design and distribute materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment, and summary plan descriptions; oversee maintenance of employee benefits files Collaborate with leadership to improve employee engagement, boost morale, and increase productivity and retention Manage COVID-related time off in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including SPSL, management of vaccine documentation, and related health and safety issues related to COVID policies in the workplace Training Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of a wide variety of training methods Review existing training programs; identify future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, performance appraisals, and consultation with department managers Suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention Other duties and projects as assigned Candidate Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent communication, presentation, and conflict resolution skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and maintain confidentiality In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices Prepare and give clear and impactful presentations Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics and knowledge of HR systems and databases Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; work experience may substitute for education requirement Two (2) years of experience in training with one year of supervisory experience required A minimum of three (3) years of human resource management experience preferred PHR/SPHR certification preferred Additional Requirements Occasional work outside of regular business hours Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical/religious exemption Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S._This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required.
