Job Description:

Century Group is partnering with a client, located in Anaheim, CA, who is seeking a Payroll Specialist. This is a full-time, exempt, fully onsite position that processes entity-wide payrolls. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $70,000 to $85,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Prepare and process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll records, payroll tax, and compliance
• Audit ABI time and attendance records for payroll processing
• Prepare and process NHL and AHL player payrolls on a semi-monthly schedule
• Analyze and audit payrolls for accuracy
• Audit Federal, State, and local compliance requirements and ensure overall compliance
• Reconcile quarter/year-end payroll data (Quarterly Taxes/W2's)
• Prepare and validate the annual NHL Schedule 18 (staffing and wages)
  Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Business Central preferred
    Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years' payroll accounting experience
