We aspire to be the best solution for the Industrial customers' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.Responsibilities of the Shop Engineer include, but are not limited to:* Provide technical assistance regarding shop overhauls* Working in a Pump Repair Shop* Compile and develop technical reports on equipment* Manage the QA/QC Program* Perform field job walks; prepare work scopes, material lists and execution plans* Maintain customer accounts#DXPQualifications of the Shop Engineer include, but are not limited to:* Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience* Two-years' experience in a related industry* Good communications and writing skills* Proficiency with Excel and SolidWorks* Good verbal and communicative skills* Previous experience in the field of mechanical and/or pump hydraulic design is required* Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelinesAdditional Information: Physical Demand: Climb ladders; lift 20 poundsWorking Conditions: Primarily shop environmentTraining/Certifications: Experience with SolidWorksShift Time/Overtime: Normally day shift with periodic overtimeTravel: RareEducation: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experienceDXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
