Tomorrow Water is hiring a--Business Development Associate/Sales Engineer--at its Anaheim, California headquarters. Our ideal candidate is a fast-learning, early-career professional with passion, integrity and out-of-the-box thinker.Purpose and ScopeAssist in development of customer pipeline, product strategy, and proposal generation. Assist process/project engineering activities for proposal, design, and piloting of water and wastewater treatment systems in accordance with the project specifications. Assist with technical marketing, reporting and sales.Essential Job Functions* Assists in assessing client needs, preparing technical proposals and pitching solutions to clients.* Evaluates pros and cons of various treatment options towards selection of a cost-effective working solution.* Presents exciting, engaging and informative technical lectures at professional conferences, client and partner sites.* Identifies and contacts new potential clients.* Assists in implementation of onsite pilot testing; develops pilot testing reports, publications and presentations.* Assists in analysis, interpretation and visualization of data from pilots and commissioned treatment plants.* Evaluates new technologies and products, conducts site inspections.* Performs market research, assists in identifying new markets, clients, partners and competitors.* Produces engaging marketing copy, develops opportunities to educate customers about our solutions.Education and TrainingBS degree or MS degree with 3-5 years experience in water / wastewater treatment. Preference for EITs. Focus of prior experience would ideally be on biological wastewater treatment. Sales and marketing experience (of any kind) is a major asset, as is experience in project management and/or research.Personality RequirementsWe are looking for a self-led, energetic, curious and creative individual. The candidate is expected to have a positive, outgoing attitude, a passion for solving problems and persuasive speaking skills. This role requires continuous learning and opportunities will be given for training and participation in professional education.
