Loan Processing Supervisor (100% Remote)

100% Remote Position
This position is responsible for the supervision of the processing
of loan requests from application to approval for credit union
partners. In addition to ensuring that all loans meet investor
requirements and state and federal lending regulations, the
department is expected to complete processing on each loan request
within the service level ranges prescribed by senior management. It
is a leadership position which oversees a staff of processors in
the Anaheim Operations Center.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for own pipe line of loans in process.
Promotes high levels of member service and satisfaction.
Participates in the supervision, motivation, education, coaching
and evaluation of the performance of the staff positions in the
Works closely with CMI department managers and senior management to
achieve established goals for performance, including member service
ratings, turnaround time, loan approval ratios and telephone
response time, while helping to ensure that all loans are processed
in accordance with CMI's policies and procedures.
Maintains compliance with all applicable lending laws and
Assists in recommending new operational strategies, methods of
service delivery and software (Prime Alliance, FICS, and Desktop
Helps monitor the department's performance levels relative to
productivity and efficiency goals including member and internal
customer service quality, volume criteria, and turnaround
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Five (5) or more years of experience in mortgage processing and/or
underwriting of FNMA and FHA loans is required.
High school diploma is required. Bachelor of Science degree in a
(e.g., business, finance, accounting, marketing, etc.) and previous
experience are preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of Credit Union operations.
Ability to demonstrate supervisory and leadership skills, to
effectively develop, challenge and motivate staff.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, self-starter and team-oriented.
Effective human relations skills in order to maintain positive
Productive working relationships with other CMI department

Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Experience with Prime Alliance loan origination system
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTATIONS:
Certified Notary is desirable.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in
All units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and
decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages, and to
draw and interpret bar graphs.
