Job Description:

The Guest Screener II will act as the second point of contact for guests/visitors at the entrances for all locations who initially screen a temperature. This role may include administrating of on-site temperature screening services and asking basic questions to identify symptoms or exposure which may prevent entering the facility. Guest Screeners interact with guests/visitors in a positive, professional, and caring manner.Screeners will be provided personal protective equipment to wear for the duration each shift and be trained in proper sanitizing and safety procedures.Essential Functions Comfortable interacting with all members of the public during pandemic. Provide courteous and positive customer service. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. Administer and accurately interpret the temperature of an individual utilizing temporal, oral, or infrared thermometers according to the manufacturer's instructions. Responsible for second phase screening process if elevated temperature above 100.4 is detected by Guest Screener, in accordance with outlined procedures. Address guests/visitors compassionately when they do not meet the criteria to enter. Escalate guest/visitor concerns as needed to appropriate level of personnel. Greet guests/visitors upon arrival and inform them of screening procedures. Comply with social distancing guidelines and proper sanitizing and safety procedures. Comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment for the duration of the shift. Ability to stand for duration of shift and work in various environments such as cold weather, rain, or heat Customer service mindset. Participate in data collection. Flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays. Perform additional duties as assigned. Education, Training and Experience Required: High School Diploma and graduate of Medical Assistant program or Licensed Vocational Nurse programPreferred: Experience in medical operations Skills or Other Qualifications Required: Ability to work under pressure while maintaining positive customer service and professional attitude at all times. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to prioritize.
