We provide program administration and assistance to improve grid resiliency to over 50 investor-owned utilities.Job Description:The primary duty of this position is to manage client, participant, and end user relationships on commercial new construction energy efficiency projects. This includes gathering the information needed to set up and run projects, coordinating project work deadlines and meetings, managing expectations of design teams and program managers, reviewing energy analysis and verification work, presenting energy reports to design teams, providing consultation, and pursuing project work for utility programs. In addition, the position will identify, research, and assist with recruiting ideal projects in the program and prepare them for success.Duties:Drive opportunities for growth associated with program workConduct regular outreach including presenting architect/engineer lunch and learns, attending trade show presentations, and participating in local professional organizationsGuide architects and engineers through a well-defined energy consulting process Present reports detailing energy conservation measures and design adviceSchedule and conduct meetings where energy simulation results will be developed and discussedEnsure tracking systems are up to date from the early stages of design through building operation Work with team members to provide high quality results and deliverablesListen carefully and impartially to others and gauge their wants, risks, and needs prior to speakingPlan and prepare in advance for the outcome Willdan wants from discussions and presentations Present information in a manner consistent with Willdans goals and brandMeet obstacles with resourcefulness and generate suggestions for improving workDevelop innovative approaches and ideas that work effectivelyForm and maintain positive relationships with customers Move projects along from start to finish in a timely, rational, efficient sequenceMinimumQualifications:Excellent organization, communication (verbal and written), and project management skillsMotivated and self-directed with an ability to follow through on commitmentsAbility to complete work assignments and projects on time or in advance of scheduled deadlinesBachelors or Masters degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Building Science or closely related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of architectural design, construction processes, mechanical design, building operation, and/or sustainable design conceptsExisting relationships within the local design and construction industry Quantitative analysis skillsGraphic design skillsAbility to read construction documentsKnowledge of energy codes and understanding of energy consumption at the building levelEEO Non-Discrimination and ADA Reasonable Accommodation Statement:Willdan is an equal opportunity employer.
