As a Security Officer for the Radisson Blu Anaheim, no two days
will be the same. You, along with a team of other Security
Officers, will be responsible for keeping the guests and employees
of the hotel safe on a daily basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates guest satisfaction and exceeds expectations by providing
the service expectations and standards.
-Provides a safe and secure environment in the hotel by ensuring
that all security staff are consistently carrying out the proper
security methods and procedures.
-Understand written procedures for handling any emergency that
would require partial or complete evacuation of the hotel such as
fire, severe injuries, power failure, or bomb threats.
-Responds to all emergency situations immediately. Takes
appropriate action to safeguard guests, employees and the
-Handles complaints, investigates, and thoroughly reports on;
customer or employee injuries, thefts, assaults, lost property, car
accidents, loud parties, vandalism, and other guest complaints as
-Reviews accident investigations to ensure accurate and complete

-Maintain a positive inter-departmental relationship through the
hotel and with outside vendors.

-Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not
satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate
to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction.
Performs other duties as assigned.
-High School graduate required. Associates/Bachelors Degree or
equivalent preferred. Additional training, (e.g. military, law
enforcement) and education is highly desirable.
-Ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year security
-Experience with MS Office applications and Outlook required,
-Previous work experience should include working in a high-volume
environment, as well as, customer-service oriented atmosphere.
-Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.

During the majority of the shift, must be able to:
-Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
-Ability to lift, pull, push up to 25 pounds.
-Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist.
-Ability to stand for long periods of time.
-See, hear, speak and read and write legibly.
-Be able to reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling,
crouching and crawling.
-Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for
long periods of times up to 8 hours.
-Duties may involve climbing stair and walking inclines or uneven
