Job Description:

Providence is calling a Program Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Day SHIFT) to work with Providence Home and Community Care in one of our West Coast Ministries/locations. We are seeking a Program Coordinator who will provide regional Ministry coordination and support of system-wide patient and caregiver experience programs, initiatives and strategies including performance management, talent development, learning, change management to personalize guidance and support that promotes a positive patient and caregiver experience. In this position you will: * Primarily be working remotely. Will focus on the optimization of the onboarding experience for caregivers and hiring managers. * Support existing patient and caregiver experience programs and assists in the development of new, innovative initiatives to improve patient experience and engage and connect caregivers. * Work collaboratively to implement and sustain key strategic patient and caregiver experience processes and tools that support continued development of high-potential employees. * In both a proactive and interventional way, assists local Ministry teams to improve effectiveness of team dynamics, resolution strategies and tactics. * Serve as subject matter expert for local Ministry teams to leverage support of strategic patient and caregiver experience programs and change management strategies. * Participate in development of improvement initiatives such a pilot programs or working on committees to develop process improvement recommendations. Communicates feedback to local Ministry teams on identified opportunities for improvement in patient and caregiver experience. * Participate in development and facilitation of training programs and patient-centered competencies to improve the patient experience. Required qualifications for this position include: * Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma with equivalent work experience. * Three (3) years in healthcare with experience in program/project support or management. * Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation capabilities. * Effective interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate, coach and influence caregivers. * Strong organizational and program planning skills. * Effective skills in communication, problem solving, interpersonal relationships, and prioritization. * Has the flexibility to adapt to new and changing situations. * Good knowledge of performance improvement. * Strong data entry skills. * Strong customer service skills. * Ability to follow through with instructions with minimal supervision. Preferred qualifications for this position include: * Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Healthcare Management, Hospitality Management, or related field. * Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) or working to obtain CPXP within first year of employment. * Knowledge of reporting of CAHPS (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) * Project experience.
