Job Description:
A health insurance company is filling a position for a
Telecommute Fraud Investigator I or II.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
Using appropriate system tools and databases for analysis of data
and review of professional and facility claims
Preparation of statistical/financial analyses and reports to
document findings
Being responsible for identifying and developing enterprise-wide
specific healthcare investigations
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 2 or 3 years related experience
Fraud certification from CFE, AHFI, AAPC or coding certificates
Knowledge of Plan policies and procedures in all facets of benefit
programs
Health insurance, law enforcement experience
Able to assist in training of internal and external entities if
needed
Able to establish rapport and on-going working relationship with
law enforcement
