Job Description:

Quality Control Inspector

LOCATION: Fullerton, CA

SHIFT: Day Shift, Mon - Fri

PAY RANGE: $23.25 - $29.75 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Interpret Drawing/Specifications, Heat Treat, Plating and Welding Specifications

- Perform First Article, In-Process and Final Inspection on details and assemblies

- Generate Non-Conformances and Corrective Actions

- Follow AS9100 procedures

- Utilize precision inspection equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Ring/Thread Plug Gages, standard measuring equipment

- Perform Inspection using CMM (Verisurf MBD), and create programs

- Perform Inspection using Keyence and create programs

- Interpret Customer Drawings and Specifications and apply proper inspection methods

- Review incoming Raw Material and Shelf-Life product

- Work efficiently with Shop Personnel

- Perform Internal Auditing as requested

- Verify Routing is complete at time Inspection is being performed

- Complete Inspection Operations on Traveler and JobBoss

- Contact Vendors as required when Non-Conformances are found

- Generate AS9102's for specific customers

- Generate Final Inspection Reports

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or Equivalency (preferred)

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

- 5 years Minimum performing Surface Plate Inspection

- 5 years Minimum CMM Experience using Verisurf

- 3years Minimum Experience using Keyence

- Experience in use of calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, height gage or any precision measuring instrument, required

- Knowledge in Blueprint, Customer Specifications, and Industry Standards

- Ability to perform arithmetic, geometric and algebraic calculations.

- Strong oral and written communication skills required

- Good knowledge of Geometrical, Dimensional, & Tolerancing (GD&T)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
