The Disneyland Resort invites you to be our Guest and explore exciting opportunities at our upcoming Job Fair on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This event is open to the public and will focus on finding talent for our Specialty roles, including several in the Facilities Department. Come meet our Recruitment Team and FOS Leadership to learn more about our dynamic teams that provide unparalleled and unforgettable memories to our Guest experiences!

Candidates are encouraged to apply online prior to the event to reserve an in-person interview time with a Recruiter - however computers will be available at the event to complete applications.

Roles available will include:

  • Full Time Electrician - $1,500 Hiring Bonus
  • Full Time Maintenance Mechanic (Outside Machinist-Non-Auto) - $1,500 Hiring Bonus
  • Full Time Pruner - Tree Worker
  • Full Time Operating EngineerFull Time requires full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week including nights, weekends and holidays.

    Part Time requires full availability on weekends, holidays and during all peak seasons, in addition to nights for any private parties.

        $1,500 Hiring Bonus for Electrician & Maintenance Mechanic (Outside Machinist-Non-Auto)

        $1,500 Hiring Bonus (First payment after 90 days = $375 and Second payment after 150 days = $1,125)

        To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, Cast Members must be in the position continuously for at least 90 days after hire and be employed by The Walt Disney Company at time of payment. A Cast Member is hired after the successful completion of Disney Traditions or one full day of employment. To be eligible for an incentive bonus after 150 days, cast members must remain employed in the position continuously for at least 150 days and be employed by The Walt Disney Company at the time of payment. Payments will be made approximately two weeks after the 90 and 150-day milestones, respectively. Bonus payments are subject to applicable taxes and other legal withholding. Disputes concerning eligibility to a bonus payment shall be resolved by Disneyland Recruitment in its sole and absolute discretion. The incentives offered herein are subject to change at any time, with or without notice. Cast Members hired prior to January 01, 2023 or after April 01, 2023 will not be eligible for an incentive award.

        Basic Qualifications :
        Electrician - Full Time:
        • Technical competence, the ability to read and understand detailed instructions, blueprints, flowcharts, schematics and engineering documents, and pass all compliance necessary for technical and safety training
        • Understanding of the control and repair of circuits and motors
        • Sharp troubleshooting skills and comfort working alone or as part of a teamMaintenance Mechanic (Outside Machinist - Non-Auto) - Full Time:
          • Ability to use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and basic tools required of a machinist
          • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
          • Familiarity with alignment of pumps and shafts
          • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsPruner - Tree Worker - Full Time:
            • Able to complete all tasks associated with trees, including but not limited to climbing, pruning, planting, transplanting, staking, tagging, inspecting, cabling/bracing, rigging, and removing trees safely and accurately
            • Able to calmly handle any emergency situation Must possess a Western Chapter Certified Tree Worker (WC-CTW) certification or the level of ability to obtain a Certified Tree Worker qualification

              Operating Engineer - Full Time:
              Operating Engineers at Disneyland Resort perform operational and functional checks of central plants for our facilities and world-famous attractions, providing direct support to Resort-wide hot water, chilled water, and compressed air requirements. They keep our Guests comfortable by performing troubleshooting and repair of systems and equipment (boilers, chillers, compressors), installations, maintenance, and quality checks of completed work
              • Journeyman Operating Engineer or maintenance machinist experience
              • Unlimited CFC license
              • Background as a Utilities Man Class A or C, Boiler Technician Class A or C
              • Ability to use special tools and equipment
              • Familiarity with pumps, compressors, boilers, chiller units, cooling towers, and associated equipment
              • Familiarity with alignment of pumps and shafts
              • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic
              • Familiarity with, or have the ability to learn, the Computerized Maintenance Management System ("Maximo"

                - The pay rate for this Electrician role is $32.52 to $41.31 per hour.
                - The pay rate for this Maintenance Mechanic (Outside Machinist - Non-Auto) role is $32.52 to $41.31 per hour.
                - The pay rate for this Pruner - Tree Worker role is $23.17 to $31.12 per hour.
                - The pay rate for this Operating Engineer role is $31.58 to $40.34 per hour.
                The base pay actually offered follows the minimum wage from the pay scale agreed upon in the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

                SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
                Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
