Are you skilled in working with controlled explosions, hazardous materials, and safety procedures? Our Pyrotechnician team is focused on creating magic by setting up and firing pyrotechnic effects in a variety of venues and shows. Pyrotechnicians work directly with Entertainment-division teams to generate appropriate fixtures, programs, and procedures to support shows.

The Disneyland Resort invites you to be our Guest and explore exciting Pyrotechnician opportunities at our upcoming Job Fair on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Come meet our Recruitment Team to learn more about our dynamic teams that provide unparalleled pyrotechnical experiences! This event is open to the public and will focus on finding talent for our roles.

Candidates are encouraged to apply online prior to the event to reserve an in-person interview time with a Recruiter - however computers will be available at the event to complete applications.

Roles available will include:

• Part Time PyrotechnicianPart Time requires full availability on weekends, holidays and during all peak seasons, in addition to nights for any private parties.

      Basic Qualifications :
      • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
      • Must have a valid California Driver's License
      • Currently hold, or pursuing, a Basic Commercial Pyrotechnical License
      • Basic electrical knowledge and mathematical skills
      • Experience using common pyrotechnic firing systems including, but not limited to, pyro digital systems
      • Hands-on experience loading pyro, connecting modules, firing strips, and wiring pyro product
      • Ability using common hand tools and handheld power tools, air -powered tools, and air hoses
      • Ability to interface with other crafts, such as Electricians and Sound Mechanics
      • Comfortable driving mechanized transportation, including lifts and skiffs
      • Comfortable working in outdoor conditions in all-weather types
      • Full availability for any shift (including nights) during our peak times of the year, and year-round availability for holidays and weekends
        Additional Information :
        The pay rate for this role in California is $29.50 per hour
        
        SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
        Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
