Job Title:Filler Operator Location: Anaheim, CA Compensation: $18/hr. - $19.50/hr. DOE Job Title: Filler Operator Nelson Connects has immediate openings forFiller Operatorsin Anaheim, CA. Immediate Openings in the 3rd Shift. The Filler Operatorwill be responsible for operating the filling equipment and the cleaning and sterilization of the equipment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Additional Duties and Responsibilities include: Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times Adhere to food safety and quality requirements Operate fillers, cappers, rinsers, foamer, process systems, and other equipment Assist with mechanics in troubleshooting Check codes as required and on time Perform hourly quality checks Adjust and monitor fill weights to customer specifications Perform packaging quality checks Take corrective actions when necessary Maintain operators log and other required paperwork Perform Changeovers (Package and Flavor changes) Interact with and assist mechanics during machine changeovers Keep equipment and area clean Perform CIPs (Clean in Place) on various processing equipment Perform cleaning tasks during the shift, at the end of the shift, and at shutdowns Work within a team concept Follow instructions given by the supervisor regarding policies, procedures, and all changes that may occur Follow oral and written instructions Train Associates as required Maintain a Positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management All other duties as assigned Work your schedule shifts, weekends, and extended hours as required Regular and punctual attendance Competencies: Ability to troubleshoot problems on filler Has foresight and understanding of the process to be proactive vs. reactive Take initiative Be able to adapt to many situations is essential Ability to train others Excellent record keeping skills Safe work practices Ability to read and interpret written information Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers Have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently as well as working in a team environment. Demonstrate attention to detail, and professional attitude, and produce accurate work product Must be engaged and proactive, and have the ability to follow up Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Additional Requirements and Education High School Diploma or GED 1-year minimum related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
