Job Description:
A company is looking for a Head of Corporate Governance,
Americas.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the lead Corporate Governance Specialist for North and
South American markets, providing governance-related research
support
Review votes of core holdings and make voting recommendations in
the proxy system
Engage with companies on governance issues and maintain records of
these interactions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and
relevant experience
8+ years of governance or voting experience
Up-to-date knowledge of corporate governance issues and
regulations
Thorough understanding of the institutional proxy voting
process
Working knowledge of the investment industry and basic investing
fundamentals
