HourlyDescriptionA Program Quality Monitor will assist in
overseeing multiple schools or move from site to site to support
Site Coordinators during their absence or leave. While on site,
they will manage all major functions related to program quality and
student experience, including but not limited to program design,
marketing, student recruitment, attendance tracking, staff
selection, professional development, finances, stakeholder
relationships, and compliance.Essential Functions:
- Work at various program sites to provide leadership and
support; reporting location is at the discretion of the
Supervisor.
- Manage administrative responsibilities such as acquiring
supplies, reviewing compliance paperwork, monitoring enrollment,
processing timesheets, entering attendance data, updating budgets,
and other duties.
- Manage program quality metrics, including staff evaluations,
student recruitment and retention strategies, surveys, attendance
goals, curriculum development, and stakeholder management.
- Ensure alignment with school day objectives and California
Expanded Learning Quality Standards.
- Lead marketing and recruitment efforts through visible
advertisement campaigns on campus.
- Serve as the primary contact for program logistics at their
school site and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Create communication and marketing materials like calendars,
newsletters, parent boards, and memos.
- Manage email and online calendars for the program site.
- Supervise, train, and coach staff on activity facilitation and
student engagement.
- Review lesson plans, supervise activities, and facilitate as
needed.
- Demonstrate leadership and a commitment to empowering
youth.
- Coordinate a safe, engaging program that meets attendance
goals.
- Possess extensive knowledge of age-appropriate classroom
management and curriculum planning.
- Provide ongoing training and development to staff.Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 5+ years in after-school programming or youth recreation, with
administrative skills preferred.
- 3+ years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and data
systems.
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills.
- Professional attitude and integrity.
- Problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution
skills.
- Commitment to experiential education for underserved
youth.Qualifications:
- Availability for varied hours including before, after,
weekends, and some overnights.
- Ability to travel within San Diego County Schools.
- Experience working with diverse communities.
- Desire to work outdoors with students.
- Energetic and outgoing personality.
- 48+ college units or passing an academic proficiency exam.
- TB Test and Live Scan clearance.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Current CPR certification.Physical Demands:
- Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, handle, reach, and occasionally
sit.
- Lift/move up to 25 pounds.
- Visual abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral,
