Job Description Position Overview: Fire Safety First, is in Santa Ana, California we are hiring immediately in Santa Ana County. We are looking for Fire Protection Service Technician supporting industrial clients throughout OC, LA, San Diego, and San Bernardino area. Work will involve inspection, testing & maintenance, service and installation of various types of fixed and portable water-based and electrical fire protection systems. Work environment is in an industrial setting which will involve walking, climbing, and light to moderate physical activity. Roles and Responsibilities: Fire Protection Service Technician responsibilities will include but not limited to -- Interacting with clients -- Performing Inspections -- Testing & Maintenance Tasks -- Repair and Installation of various types of fire protection systems -- Assess the need for repair and maintenance -- Input work data via Service Slips Requirements: -- Clean Driving Record (will travel 80% of the time). -- Able to utilize hand tools and mechanical (piping) and or electrical skill sets -- Solid verbal and written communication skills -- Functional computer skills -- Personable and able to interact with customers and peers in a respectful manner Skills: -- Ability to produce legible and understandable investigation reports -- Ability to work independently and self-motivated -- Functional in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel Education: -- High School Diploma -- AAS Degree or higher Company Description Fire Safety First started in 1978 as a company that sold & serviced portable fire extinguishers.
