Job Description:

This individual will be responsible for maintaining a working relationship with our customers,
vendors, agents, and colleagues.
Task will include assisting in the preparation of bills of lading, providing customers tracking on
board confirmations, ensuring that documentation is complete and accurate, which requires an
individual that is detail oriented, having the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in
writing to clients and destination offices/agents request related to the transportation of cargo.

Salary: $40K-$45K per year


  • Answering customer phone calls, and collecting accurate information in order to process
    their request.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete (documentation
  • includes but is not limited to steam ship line - truckers bill of lading, documents for
    steamship lines, hazardous declarations, etc.)
  • Contacting carriers for shipment details
  • Filing, general office duties
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
    • 1 years of transportation industry experience preferred, although not required
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, although not required
    • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general industry documentation/communications.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of
      managers, clients, customers, and the general public
