They will coordinate implementation, testing, training, and communication efforts with vendors and multiple business units. This is a business-facing and technology-facing role, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills to create alignment amongst multiple business sponsors.The Business Systems Analyst works closely with all business users but is primarily focused on the Materials (Warehouse Management, Product Movement), Fulfillment (Pick, Pack & Ship) and Finance/Accounting (A/R, A/P, G/L, COGS) business operations.The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for using their knowledge of software programs, application systems, business process and business strategies to help maximize productivity, process efficiency, and improve communication and operation effectiveness. Duties include talking with management and department leaders to determine their needs, and requirements, coordinating with the rest of the organization and the team on those needs and training company employees on how to use and leverage the application software, process, or SOP effectively in their daily jobs and/or operations.All employees are responsible to follow all of Nutrition Corp. protocols of Food Safety.Essential Functions:--- Collaborate with team members to understand organizational and operational challenges--- Lead "Discovery/Innovation Sessions" to identify opportunities that delight users and enhance operational effectiveness in a meaningful way--- Produce high quality documentation for requirements, solution options, business cases, SOP, and recommendations on proposed solutions and/or process changes--- Participate as a change agent to implement new strategic directions and technology decisions that improve process effectiveness--- Ensure process documentation is created, stored in a shared environment, and remains current--- Assist business users with testing of system changes and analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities and increase in operational effectiveness--- Provide leadership for the implementation of process improvement opportunities by mapping out process changes, refining requirements and scope, and proactively communicating project capabilities to business leaders, stakeholders, and users--- Ability to apply cost/benefit analysis in assessment and recommendation of new system processes and/or solutions--- Strong change management skills and the desire to make a difference--- Ability to manage multiple projects in accordance with PMO standards and processes--- Performs other duties as assignedCritical Skills:--- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, including executives, managers, IT professionals, and subject matter experts--- Strong leadership and organizational skills--- Outstanding Problem-solving skills--- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, presentation) to all levels of the organization--- Ability to develop strong relationships with key internal/external customers and approach every challenge with a customer-centric approach--- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications that can be used for implanting process or operational changes, breaking down technical complexities so that they can be easily understood by business units and end users--- Experience in process mapping, group facilitation, data gathering and analysis, and all phases of the project management life cycle (requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, training, and measuring effectiveness)--- Strong ability to work effectively within time constraints, changing priorities, and independently--- Focus on continual process improvement and improving business processes and workflows--- Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment--- Excellent interpersonal & relationship skills--- Great listening & communication skillsCompetencies:1.
